The Family Stump's first cd "Keep It In The Family", complete with an 8 page, full color booklet and 4 tracks of hilarious studio "outtakes", took the world by inappropriate storm. Vancouver's funniest and most absurdly tasteless all original country band has made audiences cringe and guffaw on stages all over town by mixing salty numbers like "Daddy's Got Himself A Big One, Baby" and "Have You Seen My Taint?", with oodles of improvised, in-character redneck banter, and the most beautiful song ever written about killing your own dog (Country Livin'). The live shows have gotten crazier and crazier and an entire batch of new tunes and some fresh family members has the clan more gloriously twisted than ever before!
It has been proven that if you have a sense of humour, you will love this band. If you don't, you may be a bit offended but will probably secretly, in an inner place where you allow yourself to laugh at things that bound well past the borders of good taste, love the band anyway. Like an extra limb resultant of many generations of genetic "sharsies", The Stump Army is growing as we speak. Spread the love and avoid the authorities...
