I play a lot of different music with a lot of different groups and musicians, which sometimes incurs in me a sort of musical whiplash. I wear my neck brace happily, and even though it has greatly hindered my participation in the National Life-sized Pong League, I consider myself pretty fortunate to have such a large, talented pool of very cool human beings who seem to enjoy creating interesting sounds together, playing my music, and having me play theirs. Lately, I've been in cd making mode, with recent releases from Jeff Younger's Sandbox, The Family Stump and Jeff Younger's Devil Loops to be followed by a new record from The Unsupervised and another in the Devil Loops series. I've also been in the studio playing on Mary Kastle's new cd (produced by Steve Dawson), we've got a smokin' new rock record in the bag for Brock Jellison, and I'll be announcing a big new composition commission for 2010 very, very soon. Exciting times, for sure!
Here's a list of some of the groups I play most frequently with and am most excited about. Audio and video samples from these projects will be updated regularly, so check out the news and multimedia pages to see what we've been up to, and the gigs/events page to see where we've been up to it.
* note: Although I'm a busy guy, I'm always interested in new projects and am available for live/studio work and composing. Drop me a note if you're interested in working together!
